In March 2006, the Capitol Hill Chorale presented a program titled Anonymous No More, featuring soloist Jacqueline Horner throughout the evening. The concert combined choral works with Horner’s own solo sets, including a cappella folk songs and a set of English songs by Purcell and Blow accompanied by Todd Fickley on harpsichord.
The choral portion ranged widely, from Mozart’s Regina Coeli in C and Laudate Dominum to sacred works by Rachmaninoff, Poulenc, Howells, and Cesar Cui, alongside secular and folk selections by Pearsall, Foster, Vaughan Williams, and Stanford.
