Capitol Hill Chorale Heads East for Fall Mixer

With our fall rehearsal schedule well underway, the Chorale will party on Sunday evening, October 19, at the Anacostia Playhouse (anacostiaplayhouse.com).  It will be a chance for the Chorale’s 100 + singers, new and old, to relax and get to know each other better. The evening will feature a pot luck dinner and entertainment by the Sequins, a Chorale-based ensemble that belts out the best of 1950s and 1960s doo-wop. It’s rumored even Elvis will be in the house. The following Tuesday night, it will be back to Rheinberger, Sviridov, Saint-Saëns, Nikolski, and a motet from our own composer-in-residence Kevin Siegfried.
