We are so excited about our upcoming concert featuring the music of the Bolivian Baroque period! Bolivia has a rich history of polyphonic music going back to the 17th Century when Jesuit missionaries arrived to build church communities. Much of the beautiful music was lost for centuries, but it's gaining new audiences, thanks in part to Fr. Piort Nawrot, SVD. Fr. Nawrot will join us for a preconcert lecture on this fascinating topic. We will be joined onstage by Modern Musick, DC's renown early music group. Single tickets are on sale now.
